This year we are inviting anyone who would like to remember those affected by war to help us create a display at the Sea Mills museum – aka the red phone box on Sea Mills Square and to colour pictures for your own house windows.
Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle Together have provided some sheets that can be coloured in or decorated. It’s a great half term activity for children or anyone who would like to take part. You can use your contribution to remember an individual, group or everyone affected by war.
Download your colouring sheets sheets from here, or create your own. If you would like yours to be displayed at the Sea Mills Museum please either scan and email it to us or post it through the door of 28 St Edyth’s Road, Sea Mills BS9 2ES by 6th November. Please keep anything you would like displayed in the museum to roughly postcard size.
We will also be streaming the Last Post, two minutes silence and then the Rouse to help you mark Remembrance Sunday at home on the Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle facebook page at 11am on Sunday 8th November.
You can find out more about Remembrance Day, and get inspiration for your contribution on the Royal British Legion website, including this video “Pause”.
