SS Great Britain talk at Sea Mills Community Club

Have you visited the restored SS Great Britain in dry dock in Bristol? Perhaps you remember it being floated along the Avon, past Sea Mills on the way to its final home in 1970?

Sea Mills 100 has teamed up with Sea Mills Community Club to bring you an event which includes a talk about the SS Great Britain. 

SS Great Britain – From launch to re-launch will be presented by former Sea Mills Headteacher, Ian Caskie. 
The club opens at 10am, with the talk at 11am. There will be free refreshments. 

Entry to the talk is free for residents of Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle. Visitors welcome, suggested donation £3

There will also be time for a chat or to share memories or even photographs if you have them.
