We have just added some temporary signage around Sea Mills offering some heritage information for those out on daily walks during lockdown. (PLEASE NOTE that the temporary signage has been in place since April and some of it is now missing – please take the online version of the walk with you to enjoy the walk). Dip in and out of the trail or do the whole thing while socially distancing. Alternatively, enjoy the “walk” from the comfort of your own home by following it and reading the information online or via an experimental virtual tour which will be added to. You can also use the website to follow the directions.
The walk starts at Mead Way and ends on the Rec. We will be adding some more information about the things that you pass on the walk as we compile it. We have also added some more information to the virtual museum visit so that you can continue to enjoy the museum even if you are self isolating. For those going out, the museum is closed at the moment but much of it can be seen from the from the outside and all the audio clips are available as part of the virtual visit.
We live in the area and were thrilled to see the heritage walk. We did it over two days and saw so much we had never noticed before. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Thank you so much for your comment. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it 🙂
