Sea Mills 100 on Shelf Life

The sea mills book

This week is Libraries Week 2021 so what better time could there be to talk about the Sea Mills 100 book on the Bristol libraries podcast Shelf life. The podcast also features some clips from the oral histories her have collected as part of the Sea Mills 100 project.

The podcast is available on all the normal platforms and can also be heard here; https://bit.ly/ShelfLife_Podbean

A new podcast from Sea Mills 100 is now available on lots of the normal podcast providers including Apple, Spotify, Podbean, Amazon and Audible.

It features some of the Sea Mills 100 oral history team talking about the project and introducing their favourite clips. You can also hear it via the online player below.

We are hoping to start recording histories again now and have already done one via zoom. If this is something you would like to do please get in touch.

We are looking for people with memories and stories to share to have a chat with us so they can be recorded. The recordings might be used in our podcasts and in the Sea Mills Museum and will be archived with Bristol Libraries.

The possibility of recording via zoom or similar system means we can expand our reach beyond Bristol and speak to the many of you who have moved away from the area as well as recording others in a covid-secure way.
